A few words on NOT so hot work attire...
Alright people, I know it's work, but come on! You can do better than that! Just look at our quote of the day on Twitter and the Facebook fan page...that Hubert de Givenchy was one wise man! It's time to get rid of your boring work attire. Don't use casual Friday as an excuse to whip out your cut up wrangler jeans from the '90s. Use this opportunity to wear a bright colored, ruffled sundress, or a great pair of dark wash jeans with a white ruffled blouse, (can you tell we like ruffles?) We think it's important to look fabulous and fashionable at work, which is why our collections have great outfits suitable for days in the office! Get rid of the collared button-up shirts you KNOW are either too tight or look like they belonged to your father, and try our custom fit shirts, made using the highest quality of raw materials! Meet the people behind the scenes!

So we're starting a new blog every Tuesday here at KBO. We want to introduce to all of you the wonderful people that make our business successful. A little Q & A action from each Kate Boggiano intern and employee! Today we're featuring Erin Lyon (right), summer intern who will be a senior at Ball State University!

Q: What's your title at Kate Boggiano?
A: I'm a fashion design intern for the summer.
Q: What exactly do you do?
A: I cut, measure, and record pattern pieces, check and fill inventory, and file spec sheets. I also get to sketch my ideas for the Spring 2011 line using Kate's "inspiration wall."
Q: Favorite fashion trend of the moment?:
A: My favorite fashion trends of the moment are ruffles and the accentuated waist.
Q: And your favorite KBO item at the moment?
A: My favorite KBO item at the moment is the Maria Spring Rain Coat, so cute and chic!
